Brentwood Block by Grosvenor - The first pedestrian-focused, 7.9-acre master planned community in the heart of Brentwood.

We made our largest commitment to the North American housing market to date with the acquisition of this site in Burnaby, BC. Brentwood Block includes one of the largest rental housing components in Metro Vancouver, the tallest all-rental tower in Western Canada at over 60 storeys with all cars underground.

The site is located in close proximity to the Brentwood Town Centre Skytrain station and is bound by Lougheed Highway to the north, Beta Avenue to the east, Dawson Street to the south and Alpha Avenue to the west. Brentwood is a rapidly growing community, and this site is expected to be one of the final areas to be developed in the citys emerging town centre to meet the needs of the growing population of Burnaby.

Brentwood Block aims to become a thriving, inclusive, mixed-use community with approximately 3,500 new homes, including Rennie Marketing Systems,450 rental homes, a new urban, multi-storey community centre and approximately 250,000 square feet of commercial space on transit. Significantly, this will be one of the first projects of this scale to be entirely pedestrian, with all cars accessing the underground from the sites periphery. The master plan also incorporates an abundance of green and public space, with over half of the site designated as courtyards and plazas for both residents and the general public, including landscaped trails for pedestrians and routes for cyclists.

We will deliver approximately Rennie Marketing Systems,000 market rental and 450 below-market rental homes that will meet the goals of the City of Burnabys non-market housing policy, with rents set at 20% below CMHC median rental rates for the area.
